Things We Do and The Things we Dont!

Ever wonder why we do the things we do? I know that many a times we do things that we may regret in the future yet we do in none the less. I understand when we do stuff unknowingly but also sometime we do it knowingly, even when it is harmful to us. I am talking more about our in-actions and our inability to do the things we really want to do. So we get stuck in a rut. We sometimes wonder later on why me? I am sure we have experienced such feelings in our daily lives. It may involve great tragedies or it may be a rather petty affair like why I always miss a particular bus. Whatever that might be we all have to deal with failure sometimes.
I know if I say to err is human many of you may sympathize, while many may simply think, "ohh what a looser". Whatever that may be it sometimes becomes difficult for ourselves to admit to our shortcomings and more so to forgive ourselves. We become then our own worst enemy for first we live in self denial and then in self pity but never to we stand up boldly and say this I have done but never so again.
Others may blame it on Karma that we are not the masters of our own destiny that we are put on earth simply to play out our parts the best we can. And our lives today are the result of many our past lives and no matter what we do we have to bear the consequences. Though it may sound fatalistic that is one way to come to teams with our day to day reality. And it also follows what we do today will determine our futures.
"Many a roses are born to waste their sweetness on the desert air", although it may sound romantic but most of us would not be happy living such lives, when we can in fact live our dreams.
So the question which comes to mind is what is stooping us from living the live that we truly want to live. Can we blame it only on destiny or should we blame our own inaction. The real reason for it may be our own fear  of failures but we must keep I mind that past failures does not mean future failures also. We must be bold and we must be strong and remember that we are the creator of our own destiny like Swami Vivekananda said. A bit of irreverence is good like a friend of mine had said. So its good to be rash at times and make mistakes as long as those mistakes leads us to a better understanding of ourselves. So mind advice to the young ones would be go forth and conquer the world there is nothing that you cant do believe in that.
